Une idée simple pour faire son propre cagot en 3D:
feuille de plexiglass à découper avec rainures pour pouvoir emboiter les 2 parties, impression des profils à coller sur chaque face...(au préalable, oter les zones blanches pour profiter pleinement de l'usage du plexi.
Posez sur la carte du ballon verticalement, la vue de face donnant une croix...en attendant les vrais ballons en figurines...

If you are still waiting for the special 3D cagot balloon, don't hesitate to scratchbuilt your own one. A simple idea, easy to built :

Here is the graphics
Step 1 :
- find some "plexiglass" and cut it at the right size (20cm large, and 10 or 12 cm high)
step 2 :
- erase white parts in "photoshop" or "the gimp", then Print twice these file, for both sides, top and bottom.
Step 3 :
- cut the plexi at the right size, with 2 "Grooves".
Step 4:
- cut then glue the graphics on the 2 plexi parts, 2 sides, top and bottom
Step 5 :
- then "connect " the 2 parts
Step 6 :
- then glue this on special ballon cagot card.

Here is the proto card, same values and characteristics than P47-D. perhaps a little bit too strong for this aircraft.
La carte proto pour le F4U Corsair de Greg Papy Boyington. Caractéristiques identiques au P47-D pour le moment, car peut etre un peu trop puissant pour cet avion.

C47 ou "Dakota", il a joué un rôle très important pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. Il servait au largage de parachutistes, au remorquage de planeurs et aussi au transport de matériels. En tout, près de 13 000 DC-3 furent construits dont 10 000 furent utilisés pour un usage militaire.

The Douglas C-47 Skytrain or Dakota is a military transport aircraft that was developed from the Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II.
During World War II, the armed forces of many countries used the C-47 and modified DC-3s for the transport of troops, cargo and wounded. Over 10,000 aircraft were produced in California and Oklahoma.
In Europe, the C-47 and a specialized paratroop variant, the C-53 Skytrooper, were used in vast numbers in the later stages of the war, particularly to tow gliders and drop paratroops. In the Pacific, with careful use of the island landing strips of the Pacific Ocean, C-47s were even used for ferrying soldiers serving in the Pacific theater back to the United States.

I try to create an event card, playable with dawn of war rules.
This event card, will be placed on the map, with 2 others that have the same back card.
In that scenario : the US player have to find the B17 that have been crashed down and then organize the crew rescue.
The opposite player, that have placed the 3 events cards (same back) on the map, knows where is the B17 and have to avoid recognition and rescue.
- to find the B17, you just have to be in the sight view (like a target for instance)(we can find better)
- to rescue each member of the crew, i tried to find a good way to play...
first idea : US player can drop on the zone an "emergency pack" to allow crew members to join the partisans.
second idea : US army used large planes and balloon to rescue men. but it's one man at a time...
the third : use dice : for each crew member:
5,6 : saved
3,4 : injured
1,2 : lost for the moment.

-Carte P47-D à personnaliser avec votre nom
2 faces : aller et retour de mission, à retourner si vous avez essuyé des tirs. (sans rien changer aux règles)
-You can personalize it with your own name.
2 faces for this card with "return from mission", you can flip the card if you had some trouble during the mission.(don't change anything to the rules).
